Engulfed – Five Sentence Fiction

As Sophia stood there and watched the cars crash into each other, the metal and fiberglass breaking and bending, becoming one tangled mess, she prayed for the occupants. Then another car stopped and a woman rushed out towards the wreckage, apparently knowing someone in one of the cars. As the woman realized that no one could’ve survived, you could see the shock as it overtook her face, then her body. She screamed a gut-wrenching noise, engulfed in pain, “NO, NO, NO, please God, NO!”  Falling to the ground, crying and sobbing, “My boys, my boys, my boys,” she passed out.

Thanks Paul! I’m not fond of writing about bad things, gives me the heebs. But occassionally inspired in that direction, so try to flow with it. Need to catch up with your posts – this insurance stuff has been an unplanned challenge – not hard just a lot to remember 😉 and has been quite time consuming. In the last 2 weeks (calling about 10-15 hrs a wk), i have made 4 apts off B leads so I was happy. Hope they make. Def a new adventure for me!! Hope this finds you doing well!!
