Memory – SoCS

My memory  . . . my memories . . . what a beautiful convoluted bittersweet poignant delightful intriguing tantalizing wonderful place to get lost for awhile ❤

I just hope that someday that’s not where I live, except as someone else’s – memory that is.

It seems that as I get older Sadie, that I weave the memories into a tapestry. When presented with a new fact or observaton I fit it into the tapestry much like fitting a puzzle piece into a jigsaw. Sometimes I have to change the tapestry and reweave parts in order to acocmodate the new fact. The upshot of this is that a great deal of work is done with memories , it seems more so as I get older. When I was younger, many pieces or facts often didn’t connect to anything and sort of floated in mid-air waiting for adjoining pieces. Not so as I grow oldeer.

Hi Paul! Thanks for the follow 🙂 This blog is very different from my other one 🙂 I don’t share this one with too many people – it’s my guilty pleasure . . .
I am always amazed how different people at the same event or occasion or conversation hone in on different things in their memories. I think we all have incredibly unique ways of “weaving” our memories together. Thanks for taking the time to read & comment, my friend 🙂
